ORTA MOSQUE

Orta Mosque is in Batumi. It was built in Ottoman Period. This construction was built by two Laz siblings for name Aslan. There isn’t enough information about mosque, but still the probable date is 1886.Today, this mosque is a single mosque in Batumi. It is an active mosque now.

This mosque is a nice example with its colour, motif and omament. Besides, it is historical, old and authantic. It is procted by the Acara Government Museum so it’s very important and valuable. Orta Mosque has got a very nice magnificent and view.

There are a lot of shops, buildings and cars near this mosque. There is mosque behind the Street. Turkish people live around mosque. There a lot of Turkish restaurants and shops near here. Orta mosque is in the city center. Orta mosque has got secure and calm          atmosphere.

HOLY MOTHER VIRGINS NATIVITY CATHEDRAL

                                 
     Zubalashuili brothers built it in early 1900s so it belongs to 20. century.It was a Roman Catholic church.In Soviet times,the church was an archive and a laboratory.People are using it as cathedral nowadays.
      It's the biggest cathedral in Batumi because it's made of big stones.It has three domes.It has a lot of spritual symbols on the windows.There are two statues in the cathedral.Also the cathedral was built with Neo-gotic style.It looks gorgeus.
       It is am old building among the trees.Also ,three are a lot of streets around the cathedral so you can go three easily.People often visit cathedral and worwhip.So it's a venerable building.
